Daniel serves as the Students and Family Director at CityBridge Church in Plano, TX. He started following Christ his senior year in high school. Having grown up in a Christian home he knew that he was a sinner in need of a savior, but kind of saw Jesus as "a really wealthy man who picked up my tab at Starbucks." He says, "It was not until my senior year that I realized what following Christ actually meant. I was in my bible class at the Christian school that I attended, and we were reading through the first chapter in Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s book 'The Cost of Discipleship'.” Soon after that he worked at Pine Cove Christian Camps and learned what it meant to live in community, be renewed by the word, and depend on God for everything. He also met his wife at Pine Cove.

As he continued through college, where he played on the football team, he found myself working with Junior High ministries and loving it. He started working at a private Christian school teaching and coaching, and this is where he began to feel the pull to work in a local church. After praying and seeking the Lord, his family and he felt called to follow Him to CityBridge Church, where they are excited to serve students and families.
